Getting started on SIMPONI ARIA®

A few helpful steps you can take right now

Here are some things you can do to help you get started and stay on track once you and your doctor decide that SIMPONI ARIA® is right for you.

Decide where to receive your infusion

Many doctors are able to offer infusions of SIMPONI ARIA® in their offices. If your doctor is not able to provide infusions in his/her office, you still have options.

  • Talk to your doctor and ask him/her to help you select a location where you can receive your infusions of SIMPONI ARIA®
  • Call Janssen CarePath (877-CarePath [877-227-3728]) to get a list of infusion centers that you can discuss with your doctor
  • Visit to find a local infusion center

Schedule your infusion appointments

Work with your doctor’s office or the infusion center staff to preschedule your first few SIMPONI ARIA® infusions. By planning ahead, you’ll receive treatment exactly as your doctor prescribed. If you forget or miss an infusion appointment, schedule another as soon as possible.

Find out if you are eligible for Janssen medication cost support

Janssen CarePath can help explain your health insurance coverage and potential out-of-pocket medication costs, and identify resources that may help make SIMPONI ARIA® more affordable. To find out if you’re eligible for the Janssen CarePath Savings Program, where eligible patients may pay $5 per infusion*:

  • Speak to a Janssen CarePath Care Coordinator at 877-CarePath (877-227-3728), Monday to Friday, 8:00 am-8:00 pm ET
  • Visit for a list of resources that may help you afford SIMPONI ARIA®

Janssen CarePath also offers Spanish-speaking Care Coordinators.

*For patients using commercial or private insurance to pay for SIMPONI ARIA® medication. Not valid for patients using Medicare, Medicaid, or other government-funded programs. Program does not cover cost to give you your infusion. See full eligibility requirements here.

Get extra help from Janssen Nurse Support

Janssen Nurse Support is available to answer any additional infusion-related questions you may have after speaking with your doctor. To contact Janssen Nurse Support, call 877-CarePath (877-227-3728) Monday to Friday, 9:00 am-8:00 pm ET. At all other times, a nurse will typically return your call within 15 minutes.

Janssen Nurse Support also offers assistance in Spanish.

The nurse program is limited to education for patients about their Janssen therapy, its administration, and/or their disease, and is not intended to provide medical advice, replace a treatment plan from the patient's doctor or nurse, or provide case-management services.
